The Excellence in Government Panel is a group of active and involved Cincinnatus Association members focused on the effectiveness and efficiency of local and state government, with particular emphasis on the urban core of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. They develop subcommittees to address government issues and civic issues as they relate to government. The aim of the Panel is:
- To apprise Association membership of issues and candidates
up for election locally or statewide.
- To be the lead panel for the organization of civic forums.
- To identify regional and urban core issues that cause or
contribute to the inefficiency of government and choose
one or more of these issues as a project(s) on which to research
and recommend solutions.
- To work collaboratively with other like-minded civic organizations
with similar missions and priorities to assist in the implementation
of chosen projects.
- To identify judicious, progressive initiatives for the effectiveness of
local and regional government and determine if the Cincinnatus
Association can become a partner in any such initiatives.

Panel Meetings
The Panel's regular monthly meeting is held the second Tuesday of each month 4:30pm-5:45pm, usually at the same location as that evening's monthly member dinner meeting.
Important Note: While the Association's standing meetings are regular and consistent, some meetings are relocated, postponed or cancelled for a variety of reasons. If you plan to attend a meeting which you are not in the communication network for, it is recommended that you confirm the meeting's time and location with the meeting chair a few days prior to the meeting.
