2010 Strategic Plan
With broad input from members, former members and a wide range of our perceived constituents, the Strategic Planning Committee has produced a concise, action-oriented plan that provides a clear blueprint for our organization's activities for the coming years. The Executive Committee approved this plan at their January meeting, and directed its presentation to our members to ratify its adoption at the next regular member dinner meeting on February 9, 2010.
The 2010 Strategic Plan is intended to be an evolving document that can easily be updated periodically to adjust to changing circumstances, while still providing a stable framework for operations. A copy of this plan is available by clicking here.
Please make every effort to attend this important meeting.
Please review the 2010 Strategic Plan prior to the meeting, when we will discuss the plan, implementation steps, and opportunities for all members to become involved in ways that best suit their interests and personal schedules.

Cincinnatus Association Strategic Plan
Association Endorses Ohio Issue 1
On April 13, 2010, the Cincinnatus Association voted
unanimously to support Issue One. Previously the Government Panel
and the Executive Committee voted to endorse this issue. On May 4, Ohio
voters will be asked to cast their vote on Issue 1. Issue 1 will renew the Ohio
Third Frontier program, and the Cincinnatus Association hopes that all voters
will vote “yes” to continue this important initiative. The Ohio Third Frontier is designed to create good jobs and
build business opportunities in our state. Already, 48,000 jobs have been
created because of the program. A “Yes” vote on Issue 1 will not raise taxes. It
will simply continue a program that has already proven to be successful and
provide an impressive return on investment. In fact, Issue 1 is just the thing
that will help strengthen our economy. [Posted 4/17/2010]

Building the Citizen Budget - Neighborhood Meetings
For the past several months, Citizens for Civic Renewal (CCR) has been
convening the Citizen Budget Coalition to develop a way to work with the City
of Cincinnati Mayor, City Council and administration to include citizen input in the
policy budget for 2011-2012. The Mayor, Council and administration agree that hearing from citizens
would be useful. The Coalition has designed a process where citizens
will deliberate in small groups and suggest how the City of Cincinnati should
balance a $50 million budget deficit. To have your voice heard sign-up
for one of the three neighborhood meetings and/or the all-city meeting.
Space is limited, so please RSVP today. The Cincinnatus Government Panel has
